Alison qualified as an osteopath in 1992. She then worked and undertook further training at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, London where she gained a Post Graduate Diploma in PaediatricOsteopathy and where she treated children with very complex problems. She has run her own practice in West London since 1994, which for the past 12 years has been located in Hammersmith.
