Osteopathy is a gentle, holistic treatment. Your osteopath uses a system of diagnosis and treatment that lays an emphasis on the structural and mechanical problems of the body. Osteopathic treatmentis widely accepted. Like dentistry, can be given either independently or in conjunction with your doctors' treatment. It is not necessary to see your doctor before consulting an osteopath, however if you are unsure, consult your doctor first. An osteopath is able to treat children as well as adults.
