About the Business
Irene was born in East Yorkshire and initially had a career in Nursing. Attending a 3 year Business Studies course helped her build a successful practice at The West-Gate Clinic. Irene trained in Remedial Massage, Advanced Remedial Massage and Manipulative Therapy at the well known Northern Institute of Massage and went on to pursue a career in Osteopathy graduating in 1995. Irene is Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GoSC) which is the Regulating Body for Osteopaths and a Member of The Institute of Osteopathy (iO).
Irene has done many post-graduate courses during her years in practice including Sports Injuries at the Oxford Brookes University, CranioSacral Therapy with The Upledger Institute, courses aimed at treating Golfing Injuries and is recognised by PGA golf. She is also a qualified Hypnotherapist.
