About the Business
As a keen sportswomen in the mid 80's, I suffered my fair share of injuries and I hated being out of action. I became interested in alternative healing methods as several friends swore by osteopathy. I followed suit and discovered my own injuries responded well. In fact I was so taken, I chose osteopathy as a career. I qualified from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone, Kent in 1991 and started my own practice. I also became taken by the merits of acupuncture and qualified from the British Acupuncture College in 1994.
Since then, osteopathy and acupuncture have become mainstream and just another avenue to take to overcome health problems. Both are recognised and covered by the major private health insurance companies such as BUPA. Most importantly these treatments are seen to be improving more people's quality of life than ever before. At Touch2Heal, we often work hand in hand with local doctors to treat our patients.
