About the Business
Osteopathy is an established system of health care using manual methods of diagnosis and treatment designed to work with and alongside medicine to enable a patient to achieve a better state of health. Osteopaths are primary care providers meaning you do not need a GP referral, however when appropriate we work closely with GPs and other health professionals to ensure you receive the best possible care.
At The Wimbledon Village Osteopath we understand that every patient is unique, and so are the reasons for seeking osteopathic treatment. We tailor-make each treatment to suit the individual patient, and treatment is only carried out after a thorough assessment and diagnosis of the problem has been made.
Initial appointments last up to an hour long and include a detailed medical case history, examination, diagnosis, manual treatment and advice. These techniques may include working on muscles, ligaments, joints and fascia.
