Charlotte graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British OsteopathicAssociation. Charlotte became interested in osteopathy after suffering several sporting injuries whilst playing basketball from a young age representing England at junior level. Whilst at university Charlotte played division 1 basketball for Leeds Carnegie and represented Leeds Metropolitan university.

The building from which the centre operates dates from around 1870. It was a typical Victorian residence until the mid 1940s when Mrs Margaret Brougham started the first Osteopathic practice. In 1950,32 year-old Osteopath David Wainwright established the present practice with the help of his wife Elizabeth Joy. David enjoyed what he calls "more than 50 glorious years as an Osteopath" and devoted himself to continual patient care, providing an exemplary and outstanding service to his profession.
Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
