My name is Margaret Sinclair and I am a fully qualified osteopath, cranial osteopath and sport massage therapist. I trained at the British School of Osteopathy and I love my job. So I spend most of mytime either barefoot, or as near as I can get. Which is why I am often found wearing the toe shoes called Vibram Five Fingers™, especially when treating patients.
Our osteopaths use a broad range of osteopathic techniques, from the gentlest harmonic techniques to firmer manipulation and soft tissue techniques to suit the needs of the patient. Many of thepractitioners are specially trained to also use western acupuncture to complement the osteopathic treatment. All the osteopaths have undertaken at least five years full training at accredited institutions and are full members of the General Osteopathic Council, the regulating body for all osteopaths.
What is osteopathy? Osteopathy is used by people of all ages who suffer from a wide range of painful conditions ranging from sports and work-related injuries to arthritis, sciatica and migraine. Theosteopath's role is to alleviate pain and improve the patient's function and mobility. Osteopathy recognises that much of the pain and disability we suffer stems from abnormalities in our body's structure and function.
At One Osteopathy we offer the latest approach to treating pain and dysfunction within the body. We follow the biopsychosocial model of health care which incorporates the latest research when it comesto helping people get back to fitness. We specialise in lower back and neck pain, but like all osteopaths treat the whole body and and not just backs.
Here at Wandsworth Town Osteopathy we offer you a bespoke personal osteopathic treatment. We treat the patient as well as the problem, speeding recovery, reducing pain, increasing movement andpreventing reoccurrence. We specialise in treating patients suffering with all forms of musculoskeletal pain from back and neck pain, sports injuries, postural problems and peripheral joint and muscular issues.
