I qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2005 and worked in well-established clinics across the south of England before moving to Yorkshire in 2014. I decided to become an Osteopath afterreceiving Osteopathic treatment myself. I sustained a low back injury whilst dancing as a teenager, and then later I turned to Osteopathy again to aid recovery from a head and neck injury following a mountain bike crash. On both occasions I made a full and speedy recovery.

Paediatric osteopathy can help babies and young children. Significant change in the body of a child can be achieved using gentle osteopathic techniques. An area of osteopathy that involves a moregentle therapeutic approach is cranial osteopathy. This puts greater importance on the subtle strains and stresses affecting the whole body.

Osteopathy is classed as primary care which means that you do not need a referral from a GP for treatment. Our training is also focussed on safe treatment, so if for any reason we feel that yourpresenting symptoms may require further investigation or are not appropriate for treatment we will refer you to the appropriate person.
